about

If there was any track off this album I considered a joint for the radio it would be this one. When I perform this one live it's become the jam that the ladies really vibe too. That wasn't intentional just one of those hidden gems that come out of a song you don't think of happening.

In the second verse I talk about a cypher I use to host called Knock-ternal rhyme sessions in Washington Square Park, pre-covid. That holds a special place in my heart even though it's been awhile since I put it together.

On The Move

Written by Super King Armor/Enrae L. Mercer

Intro
Ooh Shit!! Yo what fucking time is it!?
Awwwww I gotta get up, I gotta get the fuck up outta here!
Hold on..Lemme go get my shit, shit!
Have to wash my face, put my under arm deodorant on
Can’t be walking outside smelling crazy
I’m clean, aight! Uh! Door! Let’s go!

Verse 1
We on a mission, follow the leader
Bottle of tequila metro card chase visa
We on the move, on the move, can’t lose
Slap on the scents, blue jeans, Jay’s shoes
Set my dvr..”Supernatural”
Super your a natural all instinct primal animal
Showed up to the party pregamed feeling nice
My mans got the edibles I’m done for the night
Naaah! Senses only heightened like when I’m writing
Horny like a viking, Magnums on deck
Bravehearts out here having bare back sex
Hit the stu with, Miles Moran
That’s the beatmaker, Miles my man
Stella’ Artois Twizzlers on hand
Next up Knock-Ternal is the land
My invention muthafuckahs y’all need to understand

Chorus

Whether you a hustler with a big brain
Or a waiter stuck on the F train
Ya men’s and ladies in the fastlane
Busdriver kicked you off cause you ain’t got change
At the bar spend your check on champagne
Laughing and dancing in the pouring rain
Everyday above ground a good day
Don’t complain first move better than no move change the game
We on the move again, uh-uh, We on the move again uh-uh,
We on the move again Uh-uh,We on the move, We on the muthafucking move,uh!

Verse 2

Washington Sq Park 8pm on a Thursday
Paid my phone bill last minute in the worse way
But fuck that buckets in the bag with the speaker
I’m off the E train west 4th by the cage
Practitioner of the art set by the arch
Amidst the NYU kids alcoholics and the junkies
Chess players having games for money
There’s Snuuch Blaze D-nasty and Lav
They just came from making heat inside the lab
Makings of the perfect storm and the crowd forms
On my own again, stepped up off my throne again
Les bound playing pool or in Big bar
I got the charisma of a big star
Cash in hand $100’s or a Grand
Shouts to D for always supporting my plans
My thoughts laid up in my bed from a one night stand
